First SAP Customer Value Network Conference Sep 10-11

PCS Consulting and client Metavante present at the newly created SAP Financials Customer Value Network conference on September 10-11 at SAP Headquarters in Newtown Square, PA.

This is the first joint meeting of all three Customer Value Network tracks within the SAP Financials community – Financials in ERP; Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC); and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).  The agenda is filled with opportunities to learn from and share insights with other customers who are using SAP solutions for financials. Day 1 - Wednesday, September 10, Sessions: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Dinner: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

  • Keynote - Gary A. Williams, founder and CEO of wRatings, is a recognized authority on leading indicator metrics for competitive advantage. He will examine data which serves as a leading indicator to Wall Street on how well a corporation will meet earnings expectations.
  • Thought Leadership - Nick Katko of BMA and co-author of The Lean Business Management System, Lean Accounting Principles and Practices Toolkit will present an overview of the reasons why Lean accounting is important to a company and the new methods that Lean manufacturers are using to bring their measurement and accounting processes in line with Lean thinking.
  • Business Value - Chakib Bouhdary, chief value officer of SAP, will speak on enabling and justifying financial transformation in your companies.
  • ERP Track - Presentations will be given by customers including General Mills, IBM and Cardinal Health.
  • GRC Track - Presentations will be given by customers including Celanese and Colgate-Palmolive.
  • EPM Track - Presentations will be given by customers including Metavante, Beckman Coulter and Coopers-Standard Automotive.

Day 2 - Thursday, September 11 Round-Table Breakouts: 8:00 a.m. – Noon

  • SAP Roadmap presentations
  • Breakout into collaborative round-table discussions for detailed topics within each track
  • Wrap-up and overview of next community activities

The purpose of the Financials CVN is to build a community of customers like yourselves and to provide a forum for you to share experiences and innovative ideas with each other. The community meets on an ongoing basis, on Webcasts, at in-person events such as this one, and via an online community to facilitate regular interactions between all community members.
